Chelsea have a had a football boot specially adapted in the hope Cole Palmer can return from his injury set back as soon as possible according to reports.
Enzo Maresca has confirmed Palmer will miss the next three games with a fractured toe, meaning he’ll miss huge game against Barcelona and Arsenal next week.
Palmer has been plagued by a groin injury this season, and hasn’t played for Chelsea since the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in September.
The setback is a blow for Chelsea, but the Blues have coped reasonably well in the absence of Palmer and find themselves third in the league, six points behind leaders Arsenal.
It was always unlikely Palmer would feature in Saturday’s game against Burnley, but all indications were he’d play a part against Barcelona or Arsenal.

It’s believed the injury has set Palmer back around a couple of weeks, and The Telegraph have reported Chelsea have had a football boot specially adapted for the 23-year-old so he can return as quickly as possible.
The reports adds if all goes well Chelsea hope the England international can return against either Leeds or Bournemouth, with both fixtures in the first week of December.
Despite the bad news about Palmer, Maresca was able to provide some positive injury news ahead of the trip to Turf Moor.
Enzo Fernandez and Pedro Neto are both fit and available after withdrawing from international duty with injury issues.
