‘The ultimate attacker’ – Nico Williams reveals admiration for Kylian Mbappé | OneFootball

Athletic Club star Nico Williams has this weekend moved to reveal his appreciation for the talents of Real Madrid counterpart Kylian Mbappé.

Frontman Mbappé, for his part, is of course in the thick of his debut campaign in Spanish football.

After finally sealing his long-touted move to Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain, the Frenchman has since gone on to play an altogether prominent role for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

And though his season started off in somewhat underwhelming fashion, Mbappé has managed to turn things around in impressive fashion.

All told, in 40 appearances across all competitions, the 26-year-old has racked up 27 goals, and four assists.

And as alluded to above, one individual who has evidently been watching on closely as Mbappé lights up La Liga is Nico Williams.

Wide-man Nico sat down for an interview with L’Équipe this weekend, during which he was asked to name a winger whom he looks up to.

And the Athletic Club talent did not hesitate in responding:

“Winger I look up to? Kylian Mbappé. He’s the ultimate attacker. For me, he’s one of the most complete players in the world right now.”
