Listed in France’s reserve list for the Olympics and despite having left the squad to rejoin their respective clubs, RC Lens’ midfielder Andy Diouf (21) and AS Monaco defender Christian Matsima (22) have both been recalled by Les Bleus’ manager Thierry Henry, reports L’Equipe.

France have perfectly started their Olympics campaign, being already qualified for the knockout stages following victories against the USA (3-0) and Guinea (1-0). However, Les Bleus suffered their first blow on Sunday, as Stuttgart’s midfielder Enzo Millot (22) suffered a hit following a contact with Brest’s left-back Bradley Locko (22) during a 5v5 friendly opposition.

Millot has been undergoing treatments for around 20 minutes before exiting the team’s training, reveals L’Equipe. If he’s likely to be able to remain available for the remainder of the competition, Henry didn’t take any risks and decided to recall both Matsima and Diouf in order to prepare the last group stage match against New Zealand in the best way possible.
