A reported rift between key figures at Real Madrid has been definitively healed, according to fresh insights. Recent speculation of tensions within the dressing room, particularly between manager Xabi Alonso and star winger Vinícius Júnior, has given way to a narrative of reconciliation and renewed unity.

The resolution comes on the back of a convincing 3-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao, a result that dispelled not only on-field pressure but also intense off-field rumours. Prior to that match, it had been suggested that a defeat could have placed Alonso's position in immediate jeopardy.

Citing sources from Diario AS, the details of the mended relationship between player and coach have emerged. The dispute has been "fully settled," with Vinícius now expressing strong belief in the club's direction. The report states that "the winger is confident in Real Madrid’s project and in Alonso’s work," and crucially, that "Vinícius also believes his playing style aligns with the football philosophy Alonso implements."

The initiative to resolve the situation is attributed to the Brazilian forward himself, who recognised his responsibility within the squad. He "wanted to ease the tension that had been building around the club" and, aware that he "feels he has influence in the dressing room and loves the club," engaged directly to ensure "both sides resolved all issues."
