It’s been a while since we’ve had a decent Unique Angle to enjoy, since the entire premise of this long-running Celtic TV feature is based on Celtic scoring plenty of goals and Celtic winning matches and that’s a combination that’s certainly not been the case too often this season.

Hopefully that’s about to change on an ongoing basis as Martin O’Neill and Shaun Maloney have combined brilliantly in their debut managerial partnership to win the three points against Falkirk and just as importantly, raise the spirits around the club with the supporters enjoying the most entertaining, attacking performance of the season, scoring four goals while also keeping a clean sheet.

The goals came from Johnny Kenny, Benjamin Nygren and Sebastian Tounekt and all three players have come in for some criticism in the run-up to this game. So here is the Unique Angle for you to enjoy and let’s hope that we’re reporting on the next Unique Angle on Monday. Conall McGinty, writing on The Celtic Star today, has stated that he’s now feeling much more optimistic about our chances in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final on Sunday against theRangers and that certainly was the feeling in and around Celtic Park last night.

One thing is for certain is that Martin O’Neill will have the prayers up for it.  Get intae them Celtic!
