Interrupting the opening question Martin wants to confirm his departure is definitely happening after the game tomorrow night.
The Celtic legend said: “So, I’ve been assured by the board. The new man will come in. I’m not sure in terms of the process, but I know this is definitely my last game. That was the remit. Whether I was going to last two weeks, or five or six weeks, that was always going to be the case. I’ve got no complaints at all.
“I think it’s great so it’s not a continuation. A young gentleman’s coming in (Wilfried Nancy) and it’s over to him, but obviously we’ve got a big game here tomorrow evening and I’d like to win it if we can. It won’t be easy. Dundee did us a few weeks ago, so we’ve got a bit of a job on our hands.”
O’Neill’s remarkable spell at Celtic’s interim manager was recognised today when he was names as the Manager of the Month for November for achieving a perfect domestic record while also improving Celtic’s Europa League prospects picking up three precious points in De Kuip against Feyenoord last week.

On being named Manager of the Month Martin said: “I am genuinely pleased about it, why not. I must have made some sort of impression, not am impact but an impression. I think the difference is an impression you kind of touch over, an impact you thump.”
“It will mean absolutely nothing to my wife, it never has done, but don’t worry I will show it to her! If, after tomorrow, we’re in a position to get close to Hearts then that would be great.”

Here’s Martin O’Neill final pre-match media conference.
