Thomas Tuchel was booed by England supporters in Miami as the teams were announced for the World Cup third-place play-off against France.

According to L'Équipe, the Three Lions manager’s name drew jeers just before kick-off on Saturday.

The reaction likely reflected frustration over the German’s changes, viewed as having contributed to the 1-2 semi-final defeat by Argentina.

On entering the pitch, Tuchel embraced France coach Didier Deschamps, whose achievements he had praised the previous day.
