Thoune v Bâle postponed after dressing-room fire at Parc Saint-Jacques | OneFootball

The Super League match between FC Thoune and FC Bâle scheduled for Saturday has been postponed after a fire in Bâle’s dressing rooms.

The club said in a statement that a significant blaze broke out late on Friday 10 April 2026 in the first-team dressing rooms at Parc Saint-Jacques. It caused major damage but no injuries.

The Swiss Football League has since postponed the fixture from the 33rd and final round, which had been set for 20:30. The decision followed Bâle’s request, citing their inability to play away at Thoune because of the damage.

The impact extends to facilities and equipment, covering dressing rooms, showers and offices, as well as boots, the second kit and training gear.

A new date will be set in due course, with the incident disrupting both teams’ schedules.

Bâle are cooperating fully with the authorities to determine the cause and to restore normal operations.
