Paris Saint-Germain will be without three key player against Marseille on Sunday as they look to regain the Ligue 1 lead.

Key absences for PSG before Le Classique

Paris Saint-Germain will be missing three important player when they face rivals Olympique de Marseille in matchday 21 of Ligue 1.

According to official update published by PSG on Sunday via X, Achraf Hakimi, Fabian Ruiz and Quentin Ndjantou will all miss the high-profile fixture.

The match will be played at the Parc des Princes, with kick-off scheduled for 20:45 local time.

Hakimi Suspended, Injuries hit midfield

French outlet Score reported that PSG head coach Luis Enrique cannot rely on Hakimi due to two-match suspension. The Moroccan right-back was sent off in last week’s league match against Strasbourg.

Midfielder Fabian Ruiz and defender Quentin Ndjanto are also unavailable, as both players are still recovering from injuries. Their absence reduces PSG’s options in midfield and defense for one of the most demanding matches of the season.

PSG sit second in Ligue 1 with 48 point from 20 match, just one point behind leaders Lens who have played one more game.

Marseille are fourth with 39 point, still within reach of Champions League places.
