The last Sunday night was a memorable one for FC Barcelona. Although the Blaugranes lost their La Liga matchday 37 game to Villarreal, everyone at Montjuic was happy as the Catalan team celebrated its success in the league, Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup in front of their fans, and also bid farewell to the Olympic Stadium, Montjuic.
The players took this opportunity to celebrate with their families the end of an excellent season, and these celebrations went on till late at night.
Following that game and the celebrations, Hansi Flick gave the players several days off, as the Catalans now only have only game left to play this season, the La Liga matchday 38 game against Athletic Club.
The team is set to return to training for this game on Thursday. However, as SPORT has reported, three players, Gavi, Andreas Christensen, and Inigo Martinez, did not take these holidays in full and returned to train at Ciutat Esportiva today, on Tuesday.
These three players trained on their own and were not summoned by the coaching staff. However, this gesture goes on to show their commitment to the team and their professional duties.

On the other hand, the private flight terminal of El Prat airport in Barcelona also witnessed a lot of activity on Monday, as several Blaugrana players took advantage of these holidays to travel to their countries or to other places to unwind and relax after such an exhausting season.
In the upcoming game against Athletic Club, some of the players who have not enjoyed a lot of prominence this season can get some minutes on the pitch. However, as already reported, Hansi Flick will not be able to call many Barca Atletic players for this game, as the reserve team has a crucial game awaiting in its bid to avoid relegation.
