With FC Barcelona set to take off for their pre-season tour of Asia later this week, manager Hansi Flick is starting to make some cuts to the current roster of players at his disposal in training.
As reported earlier today, Landry Farre, Juan Hernandez, and Jan Virgili have been released by the German, with the trio reporting for pre-season duty with Barça Atletic.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Diarra is out injured and will not return for close to a month. It leaves Flick with five youth players under his command – Jofre Torrents, Pedro Fernandez ‘Dro’, Toni Fernandez, Guille Fernandez, and new signing Roony Bardghji.
Of the five aforementioned youngsters, three are certain to be on the flight to Asia, where Barcelona will play three friendlies, reports Gerard Romero.
Indeed, as per the update, Dro, Torrents, and Bardghji are all certain to be in the squad for the pre-season tour of Japan and South Korea.

As for Guille and Toni Fernandez, Flick will inform the cousins of their status on Wednesday, a day before the Blaugrana take off on their tour.
Dro has been highlighted as one of the biggest surprises of the pre-season so far, with Flick and his coaching staff understood to be heavily impressed by the 17-year-old versatile academy star.
Meanwhile, Torrents’ talent and potential are also highly valued at the club, with the youngster seen as a future first-team starter at left-back.
As for Bardghji, the 18-year-old has only recently arrived from Copenhagen FC this summer but is understood to have made a big impression on the staff in training.
While he will likely end up being a part of the reserve team once the season gets underway, the Swedish talent is expected to travel to Asia with the senior squad.
