Deloitte have released their Money League ranking for 2026, and three Bundesliga sides find themselves in the top 20.

Bayern Munich:

The current Bundesliga league leaders generated €861m in revenue in the 2024/25 season, a 12% increase on the previous season. Their rise in revenue was due to their participation in the Club World Cup, which saw them rise two places compared to last year.

The majority of Bayern’s revenue comes from commercial deals, with such deals valued at €461m, while their broadcast revenue is worth €252m.

Borussia Dortmund:

Dortmund were the other Bundesliga side to participate in the Club World Cup in the summer, and so naturally, they received a boost in their broadcast revenue, taking their value to €227m from €206m the year before.

However, their overall revenue only saw a 3% increase compared to the last season and saw their commercial revenue drop from €215m to €209m.

Dortmund’s overall revenue was €531 for 2024/25.

VfB Stuttgart:

Stuttgart are the surprise Bundesliga team in the top 20.

The Swabians return to the money league for the first time since 2009/10 thanks to a 79% jump in their revenue in the past season. This year, they recorded a revenue of €296m due to a boost in broadcast revenue (from €51m to €121m) from playing in the Champions League last season, as well as an increase in matchday revenue (€37m to €70m) following the completion of the renovation of their stadium.

This has seen Stuttgart ranked ahead of established Premier League teams such as West Ham, Brighton and Everton.

The other Bundesliga sides:

The only other Bundesliga side to feature in the top 30 of the Money League were Eintracht Frankfurt, who found themselves just outside the top 20 as they were ranked 21st with a revenue of €269.9m.
