Three Corinthians in LNF team, duo eye award 🏆 see how to vote

With the end of the National Futsal League (LNF) season approaching, voting is now open to choose the ideal five of the year. A semifinalist in the competition, Corinthians has four representatives among the nominees.

Defender Marlon, right winger Maicon, and left winger Igor Carioca are competing for spots in the LNF selection. In addition to them, Luisinho, who plays as a winger, is in the running for the tournament’s revelation award, alongside Maicon himself, who is nominated in two categories.

Marlon joined Corinthians after the halfway point of the season and quickly became a key player, scoring two goals against rivals Magnus. Meanwhile, Igor Carioca and Maicon have stood out for their consistency, frequently appearing in coach Fernando Malafaia’s starting lineup. Luisinho, on the other hand, started the year as a substitute but gained ground throughout the campaign, establishing himself as one of the highlights in the decisive stretch of the LNF, in his third season with the main squad.

Before voting was opened to the public, coaches and captains of the 24 teams, as well as LNFTV commentators, submitted their lists with three nominees for each category — goalkeeper, defender, right winger, left winger, pivot, revelation, and coach. Based on these expert votes, the three most cited in each position were chosen and now move on to the next stage.

To vote, Corinthians fans should visit the official LNF website and cast their votes.

Corinthians returns to the court this Thursday, when they face Campo Mourão in the second leg of the LNF semifinal. Having won the first match 1-0, the team from Parque São Jorge secures a spot in the final with a draw in regular time.
