Barcelona’s attacking plans could take an unexpected turn before the transfer window closes.

While the club remain focused on integrating Karim Adeyemi, uncertainty continues to surround Ferran Torres, whose future has become one of the biggest talking points of the summer.

Paris Saint-Germain have maintained their interest in the Spain international, and recent reports suggest Ferran has already given the green light to a potential move should negotiations progress.

For now, Barcelona are not actively looking to sell the 25-year-old, but if an agreement is eventually reached, the sporting department would almost certainly enter the market for another centre-forward.

At present, Julian Alvarez remains the club’s dream signing, but Barcelona are also aware that relying on a single target in today’s transfer market is risky.

As a result, Deco has shown a willingness to explore opportunities that combine sporting value with financial logic, particularly when the club’s budget leaves little room for expensive mistakes.

With that in mind, here are three strikers who could realistically strengthen Barcelona without forcing the club into another major financial commitment.

Dusan Vlahovic

Dusan Vlahovic is once again a name circulating around Barcelona, and the circumstances make him a far more realistic option than in previous transfer windows.

Following the expiry of his Juventus contract, the Serbian striker is available as a free agent and has already been offered to Barcelona through his representatives.

Earlier discussions cooled because of the financial package surrounding the move, with his salary expectations, signing bonus and agent commissions considered beyond Barcelona’s comfort zone.

Those demands have reportedly softened, reopening the possibility of negotiations.

What also works in Barcelona’s favour is the player’s long-standing admiration for the club.

Vlahovic has previously explored opportunities to join the Blaugrana and is understood to be prepared to wait once again, despite receiving a concrete proposal from Besiktas.

From a sporting perspective, while he would not replicate Ferran Torres’ versatility, he would provide Hansi Flick with a genuine reference point through the middle against teams that defend deep.

Fisnik Asllani

Fisnik Asllani represents a very different profile, but perhaps one that fits in more closely with Barcelona’s planning.

The Hoffenheim striker has built his reputation in the Bundesliga and has already attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund

His reported €29 million release clause makes him accessible compared to many young forwards on the market, although Barcelona would still attempt to negotiate a lower fee should they decide to move.

Notably, the connection between Asllani and Barcelona is not new, as the club have already held discussions with the player’s camp, while reports suggest the striker would welcome the opportunity to play at Spotify Camp Nou.

That enthusiasm could prove valuable if negotiations ever reach an advanced stage.

Karl Etta Eyong

Karl Etta Eyong is arguably the least established name on the list, but he is also one of the market’s most intriguing young strikers.

The Levante forward enjoyed an encouraging campaign despite his club spending much of the season battling against relegation.

His seven goals and four assists across all competitions demonstrated flashes of genuine potential, while his athleticism and willingness to attack space have attracted attention from several Premier League clubs.

Levante are believed to value the Cameroon international at around €30 million, a figure that appears ambitious considering his limited experience at the highest level.

Barcelona would almost certainly be unwilling to match that valuation for a player expected to begin as a rotational option.

Nevertheless, Deco has repeatedly shown his ability to negotiate favourable deals, particularly when dealing with clubs that may eventually soften their demands.
