After spells out on loan and with the club’s youth side, the 21-year-old made some brief cameo appearances towards the end of the season for the Bianconeri.

He impressed fleetingly off the bench in his debut at Inter, looking lively and always eager to take defenders on from his wide left position.

The Brazilian appeared in two other games but showed enough in small intervals to suggest he’s a player worth keeping an eye on.

Excitement is very high around the young Spaniard, who left Barcelona last year to move to Turin after hitting over 200 goals at La Masia, including a 72-goal campaign.

Explosive, direct and deadly in front of goal, he trained frequently with Juve’s first team under Massimiliano Allegri.

He is yet to make his senior debut but that won’t be long arriving for the 17-year-old, who did appear in the matchday squad for Juve’s March defeat against Genoa.

The 20-year-old was viewed as the next great hometown hero in the capital, a man with the talent to follow in the footsteps of Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi.

It is fans of the Old Lady who will get to watch him flourish though and hopes are high that he is Italy’s next great left-back.
