Leeds United host Crystal Palace at Elland Road on Saturday, 20 December, in an 8pm kick-off moved by the Premier League. The change follows Palace’s Carabao Cup quarter-final at Arsenal the following Tuesday.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Palace defender Daniel Munoz is one booking from suspension and must avoid a caution against Manchester City to feature in Leeds. Five yellows before a club’s 19th league game triggers a one-match ban.

Munoz has been on four since 22 November and missed the 2-1 win at Fulham with a minor knee issue that is being managed. Palace play Shelbourne in the Europa Conference League before hosting City, and if he returns he risks missing Elland Road if booked. He is the only Eagles player in that position.

First, Leeds visit Brentford on Sunday. Brentford forward Kevin Schade is suspended after reaching five bookings, having been cautioned late in the 2-0 defeat at Tottenham last weekend.

Leeds right-back Jayden Bogle is also on four after an early caution in the 3-3 draw with Liverpool. One more at Brentford would rule him out of Palace.

Club captain Ethan Ampadu collected his fourth at Aston Villa on 23 November and has avoided another in three matches since. With 15 league games played, he and Bogle must get through four more fixtures without a card to avoid a ban, with Leeds’ cut-off at full-time at Liverpool on New Year’s Day.
