Real Madrid take on Osasuna at the Estadio El Sadar later today in what will be their first league game since being handed back the pole position on the standings.
The game, however, is expected to be anything but easy, especially when one considers how hostile the environment can get in Pamplona.
El Sadar is known for being a vicious away stadium to play at, especially for Real Madrid, whose players are always greeted with loud whistles, jeers and insults.
As relayed by Defensa Central in a recent report, Real Madrid are aware of the high-tension atmosphere that will be present later today and have warned the squad of the same. They hope to keep matters simple and avoid complications like last season.

Last time around, Real Madrid dropped points at the venue after being reduced to ten men as Jude Bellingham was sent off. They expect a menace from the fans again today and have warned the players, especially some key names, to keep their cool on the field.
Vinicius Jr., Kylian Mbappe and Antonio Rudiger are the three names who have been specifically cautioned to stay calm irrespective of the crowd’s reaction and not to fall into provocations. Losing steam just when they are getting back up, after all, is exactly what Los Blancos want to avoid.
Osasuna will come out to play with high intensity, a high press and a spirited attack. That, coupled with the energy of the fans, will make it difficult for Real Madrid, but Alvaro Arbeloa and Co. will look to fight through the adversity and come back home with three points.
