Three Spanish clubs reach Champions League quarter-finals as dominance continues

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid have all reached the Champions League quarter-finals, giving Spain three places once again.
According to L'Équipe, this is the 13th time Spain has had at least three clubs at this stage, more than England on 8 and Italy on 4.
Real beat Manchester City 3-0 then 2-1. Barcelona drew 1-1 with Newcastle before a 7-2 win. Atlético advanced against Tottenham after a 5-2 victory and a 2-3 defeat.
England struggled in the last 16, with only Liverpool and Arsenal progressing from six Premier League entrants. Manchester City, Newcastle, Tottenham and Chelsea were all eliminated.
Liverpool will face PSG in the quarter-finals. Atlético will meet Barcelona in the last eight.
Portugal, France and Germany will each have one representative.
