Marcus Thuram has made a blistering start to the season: the French attacker has already scored five goals in four matches across Serie A and the Champions League, where he was decisive in Inter's European opener. His brace against Ajax at the Johan Cruijff ArenA earned Cristian Chivu's men three vital points on the day of his 100th Nerazzurri appearance. Thuram bagged a headed brace, becoming just the second Inter player to do so in a Champions League match since another iconic Inter striker, Hernan Crespo, who also scored twice with his head away to Ajax in the 2002/03 Champions League campaign.
