Business, courts, football and local life dominated Thursday’s headlines across Gipuzkoa and beyond.
According to Diario Vasco, CL Group has tabled a bid to buy Papresa after the paper-maker entered insolvency proceedings. A court in Eibar ordered a payment of 85,000 euros to two civil servants after years of temporary contracts. In Irun, a teacher was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for sexual advances towards minors and threats.
Police in Lazkao detained a Real Sociedad supporter in connection with the harassment of an Atlético van on the road. Mikel Oyarzabal denied Juan Iglesias’s accusation and confronted the Getafe player outside the dressing room.
