Milan will present their first offer to Lille for Tiago Santos in the coming days, keen to beat out their competition for the talented right back.

The Rossoneri are planning some important changes in the summer, having identified two key areas of the squad to reinforce – a new striker to replace Oliver Giroud, who is off to Los Angeles FC, and a new right back to strengthen the backline.

Milan identified two possible options to accompany Davide Calabria on the right side of defence, Lille’s Tiago Santos and Tottenham’s Emerson Royal. With the summer transfer window fast approaching, the club have decided to act on the former.

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com details how Milan duo Geoffrey Moncada and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will present their first offer to Lille for Tiago Santos next week, ready to propose a deal worth €10m plus €2-3m in add-ons and a future resale clause.

The 21-year-old talent is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes, so it may be difficult to agree personal terms with the right back, who scored three goals and provided two assists across 43 games this season.
