FC Bayern is one of the world’s most financially powerful clubs and boasts one of Europe’s most valuable rosters. This makes a look at ticket prices all the more remarkable: When it comes to the cheapest season ticket, the German record champion ranks among the most fan-friendly clubs in the Bundesliga.

According to a recent overview by Transfermarkt, the cheapest Bundesliga season ticket at FC Bayern for the 2026–27 season costs just 180 euros. This puts the Munich club in second place in a league-wide comparison. The only club cheaper is TSG Hoffenheim, which offers its cheapest season ticket for 158 euros.

At the other end of the rankings are Borussia Dortmund and Bundesliga newcomer SC Paderborn. While BVB fans have to pay 265.20 euros for the cheapest season ticket, the price in Paderborn is as high as 265.60 euros.

Bayern remains true to its fan policy

Converted, Bayern fans pay only about 10.59 euros per game for the 17 Bundesliga home matches. By comparison, the price per game in Dortmund is about 15.60 euros, and in Paderborn, around 15.62 euros.

It’s no coincidence that the cheapest standing-room-only tickets in Munich have been comparatively affordable for years. FC Bayern deliberately pursues the goal of keeping stadium visits affordable even for fans with lower incomes.

Honorary President Uli Hoeneß summed up this philosophy years ago: “We don’t believe that fans are like cows that are just there to be milked. Soccer must be for everyone.”

Yet the record champions could easily raise prices. The Allianz Arena is regularly sold out for Bundesliga home games, and demand for season tickets has significantly exceeded the available supply for years.

However, even FC Bayern cannot avoid making some price adjustments. While the cheapest standing-room season ticket remains at 180 euros, prices for seated season tickets in all four categories have been raised slightly.

Nevertheless, the record champions remain true to their principle. Despite a world-class roster featuring top earners like Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala, and Joshua Kimmich, FC Bayern remains one of the Bundesliga clubs with the lowest ticket prices for its most loyal fans—a striking contrast to the club’s financial strength.
