Seattle Sounders 3-1 Tigres

Tigres held on to advance on away goals after a thrilling second leg in Seattle.

The hosts piled the pressure on after pulling to within one on aggregate, but Tigres held on in the face of the relentless Seattle attacks.

A Juaquim headed effort in the first-half was the difference in the tie, giving the Liga MX outfit the crucial away goal.

After the gutsy win in the Pacific Northwest, Tigres will move on to face Nashville in the semi-finals.

LA Galaxy 0-3 Toluca

Reigning Liga MX champions Toluca comfortably knocked off MLS giants LA Galaxy with a staggering 7-2 aggregate win.

The Galaxy came into the night hoping for a comeback after scoring two away goals south of the border last week, but those hopes were swiftly axed when Jesús Gallardo unleashed a rocket from outside of the box to extend Toluca's lead.

A second half brace from veteran striker Paulinho hammered home the advantage for the visitors, seeing them stroll their way into a semi-final matchup with LAFC.
