The Tigres UANL vs Chivas de Guadalajara Liga MX match will be broadcast live online and on TV as Los Felinos host Los Rojiblancos at the Estadio Universitario this Saturday, February 8, at 5:00 p.m. Pacific.
Tigres has been disappointing so far with only four points, coming off a surprising 2-0 loss to Pachuca. The team from Nuevo Leon is a title-contender based on its roster, but its current form suggests that even making the playoffs will be a challenge.
Tigres has several injuries heading into this match as Hugo Ayala, Diego Reyes, Nicolas Lopez and Javier Aquino are all out. The defense will likely need to play with Jorge Torres Nilo as a centre-back and there is no clear replacement for Javier Aquino.
Chivas de Guadalajara is still undefeated this season, coming off a 2-2 draw against San Luis. Los Rojiblancos have not won in three consecutive games and will look to get back on track with Jose Juan Macias and Alexis Vega back from injury.
Chivas has looked solid defensively so far this season, but there is room for improvement. Manager Luis Fernando Tena has is yet to give Cristian Calderon a chance at left-back with Miguel Ponce really struggling.
FutnSoccer predicts a 1-1 draw in this match as this clash has the potential to be very hard-fought at the Estadio Universitario.
