Tijjani Noslin says he is settling under Gennaro Gattuso at Lazio, contrasting it with a trickier spell under Maurizio Sarri. The forward scored in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with AC Milan.

“Things are better with the new coach. We can talk about what we want. He’s closer to us, and there’s a different atmosphere with Gattuso.” He told Sport Mediaset.

“With Sarri, the situation was more complicated, his idea was, but now we have more freedom. Result help, of course.”

The 27-year-old joined in the summer of 2024, following former Hellas Verona boss Marco Baroni. He began as the odd man out in Sarri’s attack, with the coach saying he did not know the player’s best position.

He still had moments last season, including a late winner in Parma that propelled nine-man Lazio to victory. Since Boulaye Dia’s departure, Noslin has found more space in Gattuso’s set-up.

Before the Milan game, sporting director Angelo Fabiani said European qualification is the minimum objective, a view Gattuso disagreed with. “I think it’s too early to talk about Europe. We want to play well and win. Then, in the last five games, maybe we can talk about Europe.”
