Til settles thriller late as leaders stay top | OneFootball

PSV edged Heracles 4-3 at the Philips Stadion to remain top of the Eredivisie, sealed by Guus Til's late strike after a first half of three penalties.

Ricardo Pepi converted from the spot in the 20th minute after Guus Til was fouled. Ismael Saibari added a second penalty (32.).

Timo Jansink kept Heracles in touch with sharp stops, notably denying Armando Obispo from close range around the half-hour mark.

A handball by Mauro Júnior led to a Heracles penalty. VAR confirmed the spot kick. Jizz Hornkamp converted in the sixth minute of first half stoppage time.

Substitutes swung the momentum. Luka Kulenović levelled from close range (60.), before Ivan Perišić teed up Joey Veerman to restore the lead (70.).

Hornkamp struck again for 3-3 (73.), but Til swept in Sergiño Dest's cut-back late on (81.). Til is now on 11 league goals, second in Eredivisie scoring.

Matej Kovar preserved the points with a save from Mimeirhel Benita in the fourth minute of second half stoppage time. The Boeren had 65.8% possession and 21 attempts. Heracles registered 11 attempts.
