With Dusan Vlahovic injured, Timothy Weah was tested out as a centre-forward by Juventus today and could follow in the footsteps of father George against Milan.
Vlahovic limped off during international duty with Serbia and tests no real damage to his thigh muscle, but remains in any case highly unlikely to feature this weekend.
With Arkadiusz Milik, Nico Gonzalez, Douglas Luiz and Vasilije Adzic all nursing injuries too, Juve are down to the bare bones for strikers.
Coach Thiago Motta tried an experiment today in a friendly test against the Under-17 side, using Weah as a centre-forward.
He certainly seemed to flourish in the role, scoring two goals, while Samuel Mbangula was used wide left of the attack.

USMNT star Weah has been on fine form this season with four goals and two assists in eight Serie A appearances.
It would not be an entirely new experience for the 24-year-old, who also played as a centre-forward when substituting Vlahovic at half-time in the 0-0 draw with Napoli.
At Juventus, his position has primarily been as a right-sided winger, though this term it has been in a more attacking approach to under Max Allegri.
Curiously, Saturday’s opponents Milan are where his father George Weah made a huge impact as a centre-forward, scoring 58 goals and assisting 36 in 147 competitive games.
