Timber starts! Arsenal and Aston Villa name starting XIs for PL clash | OneFootball

Both Arsenal and Aston Villa are looking to continue their early season form as the pair meet at Villa Park this afternoon. Both sides registered wins on the opening day of the season as two of last season's top four look to stake a claim for Champions League football once more this time around.

Mikel Arteta's side travel to the midlands without Gabriel Jesus, who has picked up a groin injury, and Fabio Vieira is not part of the matchday squad as he finalises a move to Porto.

However, Jurrien Timber is handed a start at left back in the only change from their 2-0 win over Wolves on the opening day.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa are still without long-term absentees Tyrone Mings and Boubacar Kamara, but are unchanged from their win over West Ham last weekend.
