After an off-season move from Red Bull Leipzig, Timo Werner has scored his first MLS goal for the San Jose Earthquakes in their Western Conference clash against LAFC.
Having grabbed an assist just minutes earlier, the former Germany international skipped past the challenge of Nkosi Tafari and fired past Hugo Lloris to double San Jose's lead.
So far, the Quakes have been the league's most surprising team as they currently sit second in the Western Conference.
And, with a 4-1 lead against LAFC, Werner and company look to be serious contenders in the West.
