Timothée Chalamet has given AS Saint-Étienne another nod after winning best actor in a comedy at the Golden Globes.
In comments to Paris Match on Sunday, the 30-year-old New Yorker said his year had started well and that he felt fortunate, adding that for 2026 to be truly perfect, Saint-Étienne would need to return to Ligue 1 next season.

The Franco-American star, who has ties to Haute-Loire, rarely misses a chance to mention his boyhood club in the United States.
He wore an ASSE shirt on an American talk show in 2019.
In 2024, the club brought scarves in the 10-time French champions’ colours to the set of Quotidien.
