Timothée Pembélé will join Le Havre permanently from Sunderland. According to L'Équipe, he will sign a long-term contract in the coming hours.

The defender spent each of the last two seasons on loan at Le Havre from the English club.

Pembélé is 23.

A former Paris Saint-Germain player, he can operate at full-back or as a right-sided centre-back.

Le Havre’s new sporting leadership, led by Demba Ba, had identified him as a priority.
