Speaking in his pre-match press duties, Timothy Weah shared his dream of winning the 2026 World Cup with the United States, a tournament that will be played on home soil for the USMNT.

“It’s a dream,” Weah said at a press conference attended by Get French Football News. “I’ve already played in one, but this is different because it will be at home – my whole family, my friends will be there. It’s an immense source of pride. You don’t get the chance to play a World Cup at home every day.”

The Marseille winger stressed the collective ambition within the US squad. “As a team, we’re very proud. We have to give everything to win this World Cup.”
