Tolu Arokodare hails Wolves fans after Aston Villa win

Tolu Arokodare thanked Wolves supporters for their reception during Friday's derby win over Aston Villa, the player said in a post.

Goals from Joao and Rodrigo Gomes delivered a memorable victory that moved Wolves to 13 points and above Derby County's record low total.

The match arrived only days after Arokodare was subjected to online racial abuse following the defeat at Crystal Palace.

He started on the bench and came on in the second half to a tremendous ovation from the Molineux crowd.

"The reception from the fans last night meant more than I can describe. Blessed to be back out there and help give you the result you all deserved."
