Southampton are ready to offload up to six players between now and the 1 September transfer deadline

Southampton have not brought in a lot of fresh faces to the club since the summer transfer window opened.

The Saints have agreed permanent deals for Cyle Larin and Daniel Peretz, keeping them at St. Mary’s after loan spells last season.

Lewis Dobbin, George Long and Divin Mubama have also made the move to the Hampshire outfit, with the latter signing on loan from Manchester City.

The Championship side have until 1 September to complete any remaining deals before the market shuts for the rest of the calendar year.

And there could yet be more outgoings as well, with Shea Charles being the most prominent departure of the summer so far.

Gavin Bazunu

Gavin Bazunu is believed to be attracting interest from a number of clubs, including Dinamo Zagreb.

The Croatian champions are seeking a deal for the goalkeeper, who has struggled for game time in the last couple of seasons, with injuries hampering his availability.

The Ireland international has fallen down the pecking order at St. Mary’s, and is in the final year of his contract, so an exit is inevitable.

Aaron Ramsdale

Peretz is the first-choice goalkeeper in Tonda Eckert’s side, which has led to question marks over Aaron Ramsdale’s future.

The goalkeeper is also understood to be up for sale, although it remains unclear what the next step will be in his career.

The former Arsenal player spent last season on loan at Newcastle United, where he made 12 appearances in the Premier League.

Yuki Sugawara

Yuki Sugawara also went out on loan last season, joining Werder Bremen after Southampton’s relegation from the Premier League.

The defender is now out of favour following his return to St. Mary’s and it’s been claimed that he is likely heading for the exit door before the 1 September deadline.

Damion Downs

Damion Downs joined Southampton last summer, but was unable to make much of an impact before going out on loan to Hamburg in the January window.

The forward has since returned to St. Mary’s, but it’s expected that he will be put up for sale, with the Championship side looking to offload him before the market closes at the start of next month.

Cameron Archer

Cameron Archer has been linked with a move away from St. Mary’s this summer, with it being claimed that West Brom and Wrexham are interested in his services.

And it’s been reported that Southampton are open to offers for the striker, who at least featured for the Saints during pre-season.

Archer was an unused substitute as Eckert’s side lost 2-1 to Watford last weekend in the opening game of the new league campaign.

Ben Brereton Diaz is attracting interest from his former side Derby County, where he spent last season on loan.

And much like Archer, it’s believed that Southampton are open to offers for the Chile international, who was not in the squad for the defeat to Watford last Sunday.
