Where do we begin? A team that returned to the playoffs after missing out in 2023 and securing the Western Conference's second seed surely has many outstanding moments to choose from.

Going from just eight wins a season ago to winning 19 games is remarkable. The LA Galaxy had an aggressive and impressive offseason last winter.

The Los Angeles Galaxy signed international talents Joseph Paintsil and Gabriel Pec. The team also inked goalkeeper and former MLS Cup Finals MVP John McCarthy away from their cross-town rival, LAFC.

They set many historic records including having four players on the same team record at least ten goals or more. Dejan Joveljic, Ricard Puig, Pec and Paintsil all had double-digit scores on their season.

Let's take a look at the three of the most memorable and impactful moments of the LA Galaxy's 2024 MLS Regular Season.

1. The addition of Marco Reus

Borussia Dortmund is no stranger to the German footballer's talents and ability. In 294 appearances, he scored 120 goals for the squad.

Reus was signed to a two-and-a-half year deal. This contract locks him up with he Galaxy through the 2026 MLS Season.

"Marco Reus is a world-class player who has excelled at the highest level of the sport...We look forward to Marco’s contributions to the LA Galaxy as we enter the critical final stretch of the 2024 MLS season and beyond."Will Kuntz, GM of the Los Angeles Galaxy

In the home match against Atlanta United, Reus entered the game in the second half. At the 76th minute, the newly acquired midfielder assisted on the contest's first goal. Eight minutes later, Reus added an insurance goal while entering his name into the record books with a score of his own.

This strong first performance vaulted the LA Galaxy into elite status discussion. They were poised for the first seed in the Western Conference. The only team that truly was in their way was LAFC.
