The German clubs face stiff competition from abroad, however, with the report claiming that scouts from FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and Manchester United have visited the Olympiastadion to watch Eichhorn in action.

Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Manchester City are also reported to be monitoring the youngster.

As a result of the growing interest, Hertha have reportedly increased their asking price from €10 million to €20 million.

The young defensive midfielder extended his contract with Hertha in July and has made a total of nine appearances for the senior side so far.
