Manchester United sacked Ruben Amorim as manager just three months after co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe said he would be given three years to prove himself at Old Trafford.
Chelsea also parted ways with Enzo Maresca following a breakdown in relations with the club’s board.
Three months later, the Blues sacked their second manager Liam Rosenior.
Several clubs are currently enduring difficult periods, and more Premier League sackings are expected at the end of this season.
Below we look at some of the coaches who could be dismissed.
Slot is facing intense scrutiny after failing to deliver results despite the significant £450 million summer outlay.
Things came to a head at Anfield last Saturday when the Dutchman was booed by sections of the fanbase for bringing off youngster Rio Ngumoha in the second half.
Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group reportedly have no intention to part with Slot, who won the Premier League title in his first season.
However, it remains to be seen whether they will continue their backing as he appears to have lost the faith of his supporters.
Howe is one of the most successful managers in the history of Newcastle.
He has twice led the club to Champions League qualification, and ended their 70-year domestic trophy drought by winning the League Cup last year.
But results have been appalling this season, as the Magpies are languishing in 13th with two games remaining.
The club’s hierarchy continue to back the English boss, but they could change their stance in the summer.
Nuno took over from Graham Potter as West Ham United manager in September, but performances and results have been dismal under the Portuguese boss.
The Irons are currently the favourites to be the third relegated team, as they are two points off 17th-placed Tottenham Hotspur heading into their final two games.
The former Nottingham Forest boss could be out of a job again by the end of the season.
A clause in Nuno’s contract means West Ham can sack the 52-year-old without compensation if they are relegated.
Le Bris has worked wonders at Sunderland since being appointed as head coach in 2024.
He led the Black Cats to the Premier League in his first season, and the team have exceeded expectations in the top-flight in 2025-26.
It would be preposterous to suggest the French boss could be sacked at the end of the season.
But journalist Alex Crook reported Sunderland’s ambitious owners haven’t ruled out looking at possible replacements for Le Bris if the club miss out on Europe.
