Reports from Germany suggest that the father of Borussia Dortmund starlet Paris Brunner is currently in Italy, negotiating with a top Serie A club.
The 17-year-old German forward was one of the stars of the show at the U17 World Cup at the tail end of last year, scoring five goals and providing one assist across his team’s run to the title. He has netted 20 goals in 25 games for the U17 squad.
Borussia Dortmund have prepared their standard first professional contract for Brunner, worth around €500,000 net per season, but he feels ready for a more important role and so has asked his father and agent Norbert to look around for offers abroad.
As reported by Ruhr Nachrichten via Calciomerato.com, Norbert Brunner is currently in Italy discussing a possible deal for his son Paris with an unnamed top Serie A club. Possible candidates include Juventus and Milan, who both have placed focus on the youth market in Germany.
A long list of clubs across Europe are also keeping a close eye on the talented teenage forward, including Barcelona, and Dortmund are still hoping to reach an agreement with him.
