Wisdom Mike is one of FC Bayern’s biggest talents and has shown remarkable composure despite the early hype surrounding him. The 17-year-old, who made his debut in September as the second-youngest professional in the club’s history, spoke to Transfermarkt.de about his development in Munich, his role in the U17 national team and dealing with public attention

Mike has had his first taste of professional football in the Bundesliga and Champions League this season under Bayern coach Vincent Kompany. He has also played for the second team in the Bayern regional league and for the youngsters in the UEFA Youth League. He has scored a total of three goals in seven competitive matches

Mike: „I just want to let my feet do the talking“

He has „learned a lot of new things“ at FC Bayern in the weeks leading up to the World Cup and is trying to „pass on my experience to the team here and incorporate my strengths into our game.“

The winger is relaxed about the fact that he is increasingly in the public eye due to his first professional appearances. „It doesn’t really put me under pressure, at the end of the day I’m here to play soccer. I try to ignore what comes from outside as much as possible. I just want to let my feet do the talking,“ said Mike
