Fiorentina are willing to make a swoop for Andrea Belotti this summer. But offloading Krzysztof Piątek remains another priority for La Viola.
Today’s print edition of La Stampa takes note of Torino’s interest in signing Krzysztof Piątek. Fiorentina signed the former Milan striker from Hertha Berlin last January on a loan deal until the end of the 2021/22 season.
But the Pole failed to live up to the expectation, scoring just three goals from 14 appearances in Serie A. The general feeling among the members of La Viola suggests that the club will not redeem Piątek’s services.
According to the report, the player wants to continue playing in Italy, meaning a return to Germany for the sharpshooter is unlikely. Fiorentina are interested in Andrea Belotti, who will be a free agent this summer.
Several clubs from across Europe have shown interest in the Italy international. But it is understood that Fiorentina have emerged as favourites in the race for the 28-year-old.
