Xabi Alonso will ring the changes for Chelsea's final game in Asia against Johor Darul Ta'zim on Sunday evening.

Chelsea have travelled to Malaysia to play the Malaysian Super League side, rounding off a five-game tour of Australia and Asia.

It's been a mixed tour for the Blues in terms of results - two wins and two defeats. Once kick-off arrives, Chelsea will have played only 24 hours earlier, on August 8 against AC Milan, when they claimed a 3-0 win over the Rossoneri.

But performances have continued to improve, with standouts and positives every game for Alonso. AC Milan was their most complete performance, which has come at a good time as Chelsea wind down their time in Asia.

After playing a lot of players who are likely to be regular starters for Chelsea next season, Alonso will switch up his team for Sunday's match before they head back to England.

Following the victory against AC Milan, Alonso confirmed that the plan for Johor Darul Ta'zim is already set, with rotation to manage the players' workloads and give opportunities to fringe and academy players.

"The idea for tomorrow was already done yesterday," Alonso revealed on Saturday. "The idea was that many young players were coming to have chances to play tomorrow, because if not, we would have been short. To play two games in two days is quite intense."

This will likely see Mike Penders come in to replace Robert Sanchez, who played the full 90 minutes against Milan. Teddy Sharman-Lowe was handed minutes at the start of the tour, so is likely to miss out now that the two preferred goalkeepers are available.

Tosin Adarabioyo didn't play any part against Milan, while Aaron Anselmino and Mamadou Sarr played very little, so all three are likely to start for Chelsea.

Dario Essugo, Liam Delap, Dastan Satpayev and Jamie Gittens didn't feature, so Alonso is expected to give them a large portion of minutes against the Malaysian side.

Geovany Quenda and Nicolas Jackson played the most minutes for those who started as substitutes, so will be hoping to either start or feature at some point in the game.

Many of Chelsea's youngsters have impressed Alonso on the tour and will be keen for one final chance to show their potential.

Levi Colwill was absent again due to a minor issue, so it remains unclear whether Alonso will select him in the squad or wait until next weekend's friendly against Real Sociedad at Stamford Bridge.
