Tottenham and Everton make enquiries for Juventus’ Timothy Weah | OneFootball

Former Lille OSC forward Timothy Weah (25), now at Serie A side Juventus, is the subject of enquiries from Premier League clubs, according to a report from French media Foot Mercato.

As per the publication, there are four clubs interested in the USMNT international. It comes after a season in which he played 43 times for the Turin-based club, scoring six goals and registering five assists. He is the subject of enquiries from Everton and Tottenham Hotspur. There are two other European clubs interested in the player, although they have not been named. Red Bull Leipzig, however, have previously shown an interest in the forward, who is also capable of playing at full-back.

Currently competing with Juventus at the FIFA Club World Cup in his native USA, Weah could therefore be on the move this summer. Tottenham Hotspur have the advantage of being able to offer UEFA Champions League football next season.
