EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea reject approach for centre back this week!!

It has always been reported that Xavi Simons has been waiting to join Chelsea this summer in a transfer saga that has dragged on and so far, Chelsea have failed to get done.

Transfer windows always throw up surprises and there was one that surfaced late yesterday afternoon involving Chelsea. Blues fans are now fearful that the club are pulling out of a deal to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig, due to agent contact yesterday with Barcelona’s attacking midfielder, Fermin Lopez.

And the other attacker Chelsea want to sign is Alejandro Garnacho. It has become no secret at all that he is looking more and more Chelsea bound every day now, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has been all over this story with a fresh report out on it pretty much on a daily basis. Yesterday he said that Garnacho is ‘clearly going to Chelsea’, and since then he’s been at it again!

So it’s all going on, and there is nothing to say yet that Chelsea are going to get this Simons deal done.

According to a report from BILD in Germany this lunchtime, Tottenham are entering the race for Xavi Simons, ready to compete with Chelsea, who are waiting to sell one of their attacking players before making a concrete move for the Dutch star.

Fans would be furious

If Chelsea don’t sign Simons and he ends up joining Tottenham, I can assure you that Chelsea fans will be fuming about it. Oh dear.
