According to L’Équipe, Tottenham Hotspur have contacted former Monaco boss Adi Hütter over potentially becoming their new manager in the summer. The position in North London is set to become vacant at the end of the season when Igor Tudor steps away from his interim role. The former OM boss is yet to win a league game in charge since he took over with the club at serious risk of relegation.
Hütter has been unemployed since he was dismissed by Les Monégasques in October. He was replaced by Sebastian Pocognoli. The Austrian coach is being considered by Spurs and has been contacted for initial talks. However, it remains to be seen if he would be interested in the role should they be relegated from the Premier League.
Hütter is not the only name that Spurs are considering. Former Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi is also under consideration for the role. Nevertheless, he is unwilling to enter talks until June, when the club’s fate has been sealed amid their ongoing relegation battle, according to Fabrizio Romano.
