Let’s take a look at some of them. Just two days ago, reports emerged that Spurs have already identified a top target for the summer: Danish midfielder Morten Hjulmand.

At the same time, rumours suggest Tottenham may be willing to part ways with their captain in order to secure the signing of Matheus Cunha, currently at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Now, another thrilling potential signing has surfaced—rising star Jarrad Branthwaite.

According to reports from CaughtOffside, Tottenham have been linked with the English defender, Jarrad Branthwaite, who currently plays for Everton FC.

The same outlet states that Branthwaite is set to leave the club this summer, giving Spurs the opportunity to prepare an offer for him.

However, Tottenham are not alone in the race, as Manchester United and Liverpool are also keen on signing the centre-back.

To add even more intrigue, Real Madrid had previously shown interest in Branthwaite, though it remains unclear whether they are still pursuing him.

As the report continues, Everton have set a fee in excess of £70 million for the Englishman ahead of the summer transfer window.

Spurs are in the midst of a defensive crisis

In recent weeks, as rumours continue to swirl, much of the speculation has focused on potential defensive reinforcements—something that would undoubtedly strengthen the squad, given the injuries to Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, which have at times left a noticeable gap in the backline.

Another defender currently sidelined is Radu Dragușin, who is out with a long-term injury.
