Tottenham Hotspur have made a strong start to the 2025/26 Premier League season under new manager Thomas Frank.

They started the campaign with a convincing victory over newly promoted Burnley before beating Manchester City last weekend at the Etihad Stadium.

Forwards Richarlison and Mohammed Kudus have been in sparkling form. Richarlison has three goal involvements, while Kudus has two.

The defence, led by captain Cristian Romero and Vicky van de Ven, has been solid. Spurs are one of the two sides yet to concede a goal this term.

They are joint table-toppers but could be the outright league leaders heading into September if they beat Bournemouth at home on Saturday and the Liverpool versus Arsenal game ends in a draw.

Tottenham have a great chance to continue their perfect start against Bournemouth. The Cherries have been unconvincing after losing several key players this summer.

The London outfit have lost just four of their previous 17 meetings with Bournemouth and will fancy their chances of enhancing that record this weekend.

Liverpool’s clash against Arsenal is expected to be closely contested and possibly end in a draw, allowing Spurs to sit at the top of the standings heading into the first international break.

While the early signs for the Spurs are promising, their squad may not last the course. They must sign a centre-back, an attacking midfielder and a forward before the transfer window closes.

As things stand, Spurs’ fans can be excited about their new-look squad and the possibility of hitting greater heights this season.
