In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a move for Eintracht Frankfurt talent Jean-Matteo Bahoya. It has been claimed that Spurs have identified the French winger as a target for this summer transfer window.

Bahoya’s Decent Form In The Bundesliga

Bahoya has proven his worth at times on the left side of Frankfurt’s attack in this campaign. The 21-year-old has featured in 37 matches for the German club this season, scoring four goals and earning four assists on all fronts.

The French sensation is currently one of the most gifted wide players in the Bundesliga. Hence, it is no surprise that Spurs are showing interest in recruiting him this off-season.

Bahoya is under contract at the German club until the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for Tottenham to land him on a cut-price deal later this year.

Should Tottenham Hotspur Boss Roberto De Zerbi Move In For Bahoya?

Bahoya is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some driving runs with it out on the flanks. He has got the vision to create some inviting chances in the final third and can shoot the ball with venom from long range.

The French wide player can contribute by scoring and creating some important goals for his team. Bahoya is primarily a left-winger but can also play as a centre-forward or as an attacking midfielder if asked to do so. However, it remains to be seen whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if Spurs manage to bring him on board this summer.

Bahoya would enhance the quality of Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi’s attack in the long run. He is already good enough to fight for a regular starting spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season.

At 21, the future looks quite promising for Bahoya as long as he continues to improve with each season. Hence, De Zerbi should focus on moving in for him in this upcoming transfer window. However, Spurs would have to be patient with his progress before they can get the best out of the player.
