In a recent report, journalist Graeme Bailey stated that Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to re-sign Bayern Munich superstar Harry Kane. It has been mentioned that Spurs are eyeing a move to bring him back to England, but are facing competition from Barcelona and Real Madrid in the race to land the England international.

Kane’s Excellent Numbers In German Football

Kane enjoyed a decent run of form at the German club in the previous campaign as he put in a lot of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 32-year-old banged in 61 goals and earned seven assists in 51 matches for Bayern Munich last season in various competitions.

The English talent is currently among the most feared strikers in Europe. Hence, Spurs would do well to re-sign him in this summer transfer window.

His current contract at the Allianz Arena will run out at the end of next season, which could open the door for Tottenham to land him on the cheap this summer or on a free transfer at the end of next season.

Will Kane Be A Dream Signing For Tottenham Hotspur Boss Roberto De Zerbi?

Kane is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He remains a deadly finisher in front of the opponent’s goal and can drop deep into midfield to create some inviting chances for his teammates on the offensive end of the field.

The English sensation is also quite clever with his movements in and around the opponent’s penalty area. Kane can even use his strong 1.88m frame to win a few 50-50 aerial duels for his team. He already knows the North London club well from his long spell with them and won’t take much time to adjust to life in the Premier League.

Kane would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi’s frontline. He has what it takes to help the North London club get back to challenging for a top-four spot in the Premier League next season.

At 32, Kane might still have a few good years left in him to play at a high level. Therefore, he would be a dream signing for De Zerbi to pull off this off-season or next summer.
