Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky is expected to seek a loan exit in the summer, according to the Telegraph.

Kinsky lasted just 17 minutes in the 5-2 loss to Atletico Madrid last night, with Tottenham manager Igor Tudor removing him following two errors which led to goals.

Several pundits have questioned whether he will ever be able to play for Tottenham again, given the magnitude of what happened last night and the narrative it will generate.

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius suffered a similar fate in the 2017/18 Champions League final. He made two crucial goalkeeping errors that led to goals as the Reds lost 3-1 to Real Madrid.

It was the last time the German played for Liverpool, and it is hard to see Kinsky play for Spurs again.

He had not played for Tottenham since last October, with his two appearances this season both coming in the League Cup against Doncaster and Newcastle United.

Kinsky has only played 12 times in all competitions since joining Tottenham from Slavia Prague in January 2025 and will now look to move in the summer.

His potential exit is expected to force Spurs into the market, given that Guglielmo Vicario’s future at the club is also in doubt.

Tottenham may need to sign two goalkeepers regardless of which division they are in next season.
