In a recent post on X, transfer insider Paul O’Keefe claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have identified Fulham winger Harry Wilson as a target for this summer transfer window. It has been stated that Spurs have set their sights on the Welsh talent as they look to strengthen their squad this summer.

Wilson’s Impressive Numbers In The Premier League

The 29-year-old caught the eye at times with his performances on the right side of Fulham’s attack last season. Wilson found the back of the net 11 times and earned eight assists in 41 matches for the Cottagers in the previous campaign across various competitions.

The Welsh sensation is currently one of the most improved wingers in the Premier League. Thus, it is no wonder that Spurs are hoping to get a deal over the line for him in this transfer period.

His current contract at Craven Cottage will run out at the end of this month. Hence, Tottenham could sign him on a free transfer if they can convince the player to join them this off-season.

What Will Wilson Add To Tottenham Hotspur Boss Roberto De Zerbi’s Side?

Wilson can make a few dangerous runs with the ball out on the flanks. He has got the eye to play some killer passes in and around the opponent’s penalty area and can shoot the ball with a lot of power from long range.

The Welsh talent can chip in by scoring and creating a handful of important goals for his team. Wilson is primarily a right-winger but can also operate as a left-sided wide player or play in the number ten position if told to do so. He has got a wealth of experience in the Premier League and won’t take much time to settle into life at Tottenham.

Wilson would add more goals and creativity to Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi’s attack. He is good enough to fight for a regular first-team place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the coming years.

At 29, Wilson is playing in his prime, which makes him a worthy target for Spurs to pursue in this summer transfer window. The Welsh playmaker will also help Tottenham compete across all fronts over the next few years. With all things considered, he would be a decent choice for De Zerbi to consider this off-season.
